ORIGINAL CROWN MILL
Original Crown Mill has been synonymous with fine stationery since 1870, when Belgian entrepreneur Frédéric Pelletier secured the rights to produce paper for the Belgian Royal Court. Drawing on the centuries-old heritage of the Old Crown Mill—a paper mill founded in 1478 under King Charles V—Pelletier began creating luxurious writing papers and envelopes that combined traditional craftsmanship with timeless elegance.
To this day, Original Crown Mill continues to produce exceptional cotton and laid papers, beloved for their smooth feel, subtle texture, and enduring quality.
