A playful yet beautifully refined greeting card inspired by the low-polygon heart shapes of 1990s 3D games. The Spinning Heart captures the charm of those small, hovering hearts that appeared to restore a player’s energy, translating their imagined movement into a tactile piece of paper design.
The heart is created through carefully layered foil stamping, with different micro-relief patterns across its sides and back suggesting a frame-by-frame animation. Foil stamping was carried out by Cosmotech in Tokyo, whose exceptional precision brings out both the delicate details and bold geometric form.
