A notebook shaped by both paper and textile. The Kakimori A5 Notebook in Enshu Orimono 05 brings together traditional Japanese weaving with the quiet function of a daily writing companion.
The cover is wrapped in Enshu Orimono fabric, a textile craft passed down for generations in western Shizuoka since the Edo period. Woven on traditional looms, the cotton fabric carries a subtle texture and depth of colour, giving each notebook a tactile presence that feels closer to cloth than paper.
Inside, smooth book paper with a light grid offers a calm structure for writing, sketching or planning. The section-sewn binding allows the notebook to open completely flat, supporting a comfortable writing experience across every page. A ribbon marker and protective slipcase add practical details, making the notebook feel considered and enduring.
Designed to be kept and revisited, it sits as naturally on a desk as on a bookshelf, gradually becoming part of a personal collection of thoughts and ideas.
