Origin
Black tea from the Assam region in northern India is typically used for English Breakfast Tea. This area is one of the world’s most renowned tea-growing regions and is well-known for its black tea with distinct malty flavors. The delicate tea plants thrive in the warm, humid climate and are processed into the strong Assam tea after harvest.

Flavour & Preparation
Black teas are best brewed with hot water to bring out the malty notes of the fully oxidized leaves. Tea purists prefer to enjoy their Breakfast Tea without any additives, but in keeping with English tradition, you can still highlight the sweet malty notes by adding milk and honey.
