Founded in 1987, ester & erik is a family-owned company dedicated to creating high-quality candles that embody elegance, craftsmanship, and enduring warmth. The brand's iconic heart logo reflects the founders' passion for candles and their commitment to bringing light, joy, and beauty into everyday life.
The vision behind ester & erik began with Erik Møller, whose 15 years of experience in the candle industry inspired him to create a unique, handcrafted candle of unparalleled quality. Drawing on his expertise, Erik designed innovative production methods, including a custom-built candle-dipping machine and the frame that serves as both a crafting tool and a display for the taper candles. His dedication was complemented by his wife, Ester, whose meticulous attention to detail ensured each candle was impeccably dyed, lacquered, and packaged to perfection.
Today, the company is led by the next generation, Søren Møller, who has expanded the brand’s legacy while preserving its artisanal roots. Søren’s passion for the craft and focus on innovation have positioned ester & erik as a global design icon. Combining traditional techniques with modern advancements, such as robotics for wicking, the company continues to push boundaries in candle-making.
