LA SOUFFLERIE

La Soufflerie, a Paris-based family atelier, is the brainchild of Valentina and Sébastien Nobile. Since its founding in 2009, the studio has been devoted to preserving the rare craft of 100% mouth-blown glass, expanding from its origins in vases to include a diverse range of glassware, candles, terracotta, plaster, and wooden designs. Each piece is created with a reverence for tradition and a focus on timeless, handcrafted beauty.

Sébastien, a Swiss-French mold maker, applies his expertise in casting and sculpture to the art of glassblowing, crafting plaster works for museums and private clients while teaching at Les Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris. Valentina, an Italian-American artist with a background in art history and production, brings her creative vision and managerial acumen to the brand. Together, they design each piece, drawing inspiration from classic forms, everyday objects, and the people closest to them.

La Soufflerie began with a modest operation—selling recycled glass vases by bicycle to Parisian flower shops—and has since grown into an international brand. The couple has opened small glassblowing studios around the world, staying true to their commitment to ancient craftsmanship, while collaborating with designers and brands on special projects.
