Birds have a high visibility in nature and a marvelous aesthetic appeal making them a beloved subject to study both by professonals and amateurs.

Many naturalists and painters have been drawing birds non better than the American ornithologist, naturalist and painter John James Audubon with his work The Birds of America. 

This flamboyant flamingo will look striking in any home. Its pink colour really catches the eye and it is simply a beauty to behold.

The original image dates back to the 18th century and has been digitally restored to its former glory.
