Hasami Pen Rest Ⅱ | Yuteki

Its form is inspired by a droplet of water, softly rounded and gently curved to cradle a pen without effort. The shape guides the pen into place, preventing it from rolling while keeping it ready to pick up again. Designed with careful proportions, it supports both ease of use and a stunning visual harmony on the desk.

Crafted from Hasami porcelain in Nagasaki, each piece reflects a long tradition of Japanese ceramic making. The Yuteki glaze, meaning “oil drops”, is characterised by a deep, lustrous black surface with subtle speckled patterns created by hand-applied iron. No two pieces are identical, giving each pen rest a distinct presence.
